Set up a connection to Clyde

Clyde is an e-commerce platform that provides businesses with tools to offer extended warranties and product protection plans to customers. With its seamless integration and customizable options, Clyde helps increase customer trust and satisfaction while generating additional revenue for merchants.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection , configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Environment *

Select your Clyde account environment:

  • Production : if your account URL is https://api.joinclyde.com

  • Sandbox : if your account URL is https://api.sb.joinclyde.com

Client ID *

Enter your Clyde client ID.

How to retrieve the client ID

Client secret *

Enter your Clyde client secret.

Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your client secret safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

  1. Sign in to your Clyde account.

  2. Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Developer .

  3. Copy the Client ID .

  4. Copy the Client secret .
