Set up a connection to Salesforce B2C Commerce (formerly Demandware)

Salesforce B2C Commerce is part of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud suite and is designed for businesses engaged in B2C transactions. This platform is tailored to meet the needs of companies that sell products or services directly to individual consumers.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Short code *

Enter your Salesforce B2C Commerce short code.

Organization ID *

Enter your Salesforce B2C Commerce organization ID.

OAuth 2.0 client * 

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided by Salesforce.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit ( ) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.
Realm ID *

Enter your Salesforce B2C Commerce realm ID. For example, if your organization ID is f_ecom_cctv_053, then cctv is your realm ID. For more information, see Realm ID.
Instance ID *

Enter your Salesforce B2C Commerce instance ID. For example, if your organization ID is f_ecom_cctv_053, then 053 is your instance ID. For more information, see Instance ID.
Scopes *

Scopes are OAuth 2.0 permissions that Salesforce defines to limit access to your account.

Tip: This connector documentation describes only the settings shown for the Simple view. For the corresponding HTTP settings, see OAuth 2.0 auth universal connector documentation.

  1. Sign in to your Salesforce Commerce Cloud account with manager credentials.
  2. Navigate to Administration > Site development > Salesforce Commerce API settings. For more information, see Configuration values.
  3. Click Request short code.
  4. Copy the Short code.
  5. Copy the Organization ID.

  2. Navigate to API client. For detailed information, see Create an API client.
  3. Copy the Client ID.
Notes:
  • The password that you enter while creating the API client is your client secret.
  • In Redirect URL , copy and paste the URI mentioned below depending on your instance:
    • For NA: paste https://integrator.io/connection/oauth2callback
    • For EU: paste https://eu․integrator.io/connection/oauth2callback
  1. Click Scope.
  2. To access all of the scopes in the API, click the » button.
        – or –
    Check the scopes you want to add and click the > button.
  3. Click Save.
