What is changing?
eBay is transitioning its shopping experience from a Listing-based shopping experience to a Product-based shopping experience (PBSE). In PBSE, as a seller, your listings will now be collapsed and grouped by product. This will make it easier for the buyers to find the merchandise that meets their search criteria and to quickly decide which products they want to purchase. The second phase of the move is going live in the mid of September 2018. Therefore, your listings within the Phase 2 Categories are expected to be compliant with the Product-based shopping experience. Otherwise, your non-compliant listings will have minimal or no visibility to the buyers.
Who’s Impacted?
Sellers on eBay who have listings in Phase 2 Categories and are using the Item export flow to add a new listing in eBay, or want to revise existing listings in eBay must perform the actions mentioned in the Required Action section.

Required Action
Though we have tweaked the eBay-NetSuite Integration App flows to support eBay’s transition, Item export flows of the eBay-NetSuite Integration App will be unable to revise an existing listing or add a new listing for the Categories picked in Phase 2.
Therefore, if you sell in the listed categories, you must provide an additional parameter ePID (eBay Product Id) when listing your new/existing products on eBay.
To ensure smooth execution of the Item export flow:
Retrieve ePID for Existing Listings
As an eBay account admin, perform the following steps to retrieve the ePID from eBay for an existing listing:

- Search using the Item ID you would like to revise.
- Ensure that your item does not feature multiple-SKUs or Variations.
- Click on the Find a Product link to the right of your listing title.
- Enter a Title, MPN, or GTIN (UPC, ISBN, EAN).
- Review the details of the matching products.
- Click Select on the product that matches the item you are selling.
- You can find ePID on eBay’s description of the Product Catalog.
Retrieve ePID for New Listings
As an eBay account admin, perform the following steps to retrieve the ePID from eBay for a new listing:

- Click Sell in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- Enter a Title, Manufacturer Part Number, or Global Trade Item Number (Universal Product Code, International Standard Book Number, European Article Number).
- Review the details of the matching products.
- Click Select on the product that matches the item you are selling.
- You can find ePID on eBay's description of the Product Catalog.
Enter ePID in NetSuite
Under NetSuite>Item Record>Ebay Product ID, enter the ePID.
Note: We have already added the EBAY PRODUCT ID custom field to the NetSuite saved search and mapped the same on the Mappings page of the Integration App.
Modifications Made in NetSuite and Item Export Flow
The following are the modifications made in NetSuite and in the Item Export flow of the eBay-NetSuite Integration App.
1. A new custom field is added in Item Export Saved Search.
2. Under eTail >eBay tab, a custom field with label EBAY PRODUCT ID (ePID) is added at the Item record level.
3. The eBay import field “ProductListingDetails.ProductReferenceID” is mapped to the custom field created in NetSuite “ePID”.
Note: We are in progress to automatically pull the ePID from eBay. The upcoming change will save your time and help prevent data input errors. Stay tuned for future updates.
