You can integrate your Shopify store with other external applications to generate returns. The refund transaction source will have the “source_name” of the app that creates a refund. Some of the commonly used applications that generate refunds are:

To retrieve the source name and ID of that source or external application, perform the following steps:
- Go to your Shopify store.
- In the left pane, click Orders.
- Open the appropriate refunded order.
- In the browser address bar (URL), after the Shopify order number, enter /refunds.json to see the source name.
- Example: https://usstore.myshopify.com/admin/orders/1356273254482/refunds.json
- Click Enter.
- In JSON, below "transactions", you can find the “source_name”.
- Enter this source name or source ID and in the “Ignore refunds generated using” setting in the Integration App, before you run the “Shopify Refund to NetSuite Refund” flow.
