Choose your OANDA API type:

  • v20 fxTrade: Place and manage forex trades, stream market data, and monitor accounts using OANDA’s live trading platform to build custom trading bots, dashboards, or automated trading strategies

  • Exchange rates: Access real-time and historical exchange rates for 200+ currencies, commodities, and metals to power financial applications, ERP systems, and pricing engines with reliable foreign exchange data

  • Exchange rates (Legacy): Retrieve historical exchange rate data using the legacy endpoint. Use this for backward-compatible systems, but migrate soon, as this API is scheduled for retirement in June 2025.

Account type *

Select your OANDA v20 fxTrade account type:

  • Trade: if your account URL is https://api-fxtrade.oanda.com
