Set up a connection to Shift4Shop (formerly 3dCart)

Shift4Shop is an eCommerce solution provider that makes it easy to build the perfect website for your business and start selling your products or services online. 

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
Secure URL *

Enter your Shift4Shop account secure URL.

Private key *

Enter your Shift4Shop private key.
Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your private key safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

Token *

Enter your Shift4Shop token.

Tip: This connector documentation describes only the settings shown for the Simple view. For the corresponding HTTP settings, see token auth universal connector documentation.

  1. Sign in to your Shift4Shop account.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Store settings > Store information.
  3. Copy the Secure URL or in the developer account, navigate to Stores that are using this APP, and copy the Store.
  1. Sign in to your Shift4Shop developer account.
  2. Click Edit for the required application.
  3. Navigate to Dashboard > Private key, click Show key.
  4. Copy the Private key.
  5. Navigate to Stores that are using this APP and copy the Token.
