PayPal is the faster, safer way to send and receive money or make an online payment.

Set up a connection

This video demonstrates creating a PayPal connection.

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings.

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections that you’ve created.
Account
type *

Select your PayPal account type:

Production: if your PayPal account URL is https://www.paypal.com.
Sandbox: if your PayPal account URL is https://www.sandbox.paypal.com.

Client ID * Enter your PayPal client ID.

Client
secret *
Enter your PayPal client secret.
Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your client secret. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

How to retrieve the client ID and secret

  1. Sign in to your PayPal account.
  2. Navigate to Apps and credentials.
  3. Click  + Create App. The Create new app window appears.
  4. Enter Application name.
  5. Click Create app.
  6. Copy Client ID.
  7. Copy Client secret.
