A. Set up a 3PL Central connection
Start establishing a connection to 3PL Central in either of the following ways:
- From the Resources menu, select Connections. Then, click + Create connection at the top right.
– or – - While working in a new or existing integration, you can add an application to a flow simply by clicking Add source or Add destination/lookup.
In the resulting Application list, select 3PL Central.

The Create connection pane then asks you to name the new connection.
B. Edit 3PL Central application details
At this point, you’re presented with a series of options for providing 3PL Central authentication.

Name (required): Provide a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection, and a unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting among a list of connections that you’ve created.
Application (required, non-editable): A reminder of the app you’re editing.
Important: The following required settings are all provided to you by 3PL Central. If you have not received REST API access to 3PL Central Customer Success Manager, contact your 3PL Central Warehouse to submit a request.
3PL GUID (required): Enter the GUID – with or without the {braces} – as provided to you by 3PL Central.
User login ID (required): Enter the user login ID or authorization key provided by 3PL Central. Contact your 3PL Central Warehouse and submit a request for your User login ID or an authorization key. The authentication key will not work with transaction requests (orders, receivers, etc). For transaction requests, you must use a User login ID.
iClient (required): Select the iClient pair that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by 3PL Central. To add an iClient and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit () button to modify a selected iClient. Be sure to give the iClient a recognizable name for use in any other connections.
Client ID (required): Enter the client ID as found in 3PL Central.
Client secret (required): Enter the client secret as found in 3PL Central. Multiple layers of protection are in place, including AES 256 encryption, to keep your connection’s secret safe. When editing this form later, you must generate this value again; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.
C. Edit advanced 3PL Central settings
Before continuing, you have the opportunity to provide additional configuration information, if needed, for the 3PL Central connection.

Borrow concurrency from (optional): Select another connection from the list....
Concurrency level (optional): Up to 25 allowed....
D. Test the connection
Once you have configured the 3PL Central connection, you have a few options for continuing:
- Test – click this button to verify that your new connection is free of errors
- Test and save – click this button to test the connection, commit the new connection so that it will be available to all integrations for your account
- Cancel – click to exit without saving any new changes
When you select Test or Test and save, the connection is verified before continuing.

The new connection is now successfully added to your account. It will be applied to the current source or destination app, if you created it within a flow. Otherwise, you may proceed to register the connection with an integration.
