You can find the below settings in the General section.
General tab
Square Account Name
This field displays the Square account name connected via this integration. The integration app assigns a default business name on your first install. Update this field with an appropriate account name up to max 20 characters. On update, the account name changes are reflected in the flows, labels, and saved searches in NetSuite.
Select active Square locations
Select one or up to ten active Square locations to sync data between Square and NetSuite. You can run the integration flows only for the selected locations.
If you select more than 10 locations in this setting, the error message "You can’t select more than 10 locations in the Select active Square locations setting” is displayed. A single store can support a maximum of 10 locations per Square account due to API call limitations. If you want to add more than 10 locations to a single Square account, you will need another store added to your account.
Whenever you add a new location in Square, the location is displayed in this list. Next to the setting, click Refresh to see the newly added location.
Auto-assign inventory detail to Lot Numbered/Serialized items
If you have Serialized/Lot Numbered items, it is mandatory to provide inventory details to create any posting transaction. If you select the Auto-assign inventory detail to Lot Numbered/Serialized items box, and if your order has Serialized/Lot Numbered items, the “Square Order to NetSuite Cash Sale Add” and “Square Refund to NetSuite Cash Refund Add” flow flows auto-assign inventory details to the Serialized/Lot Numbered Items.
The flow assigns the inventory detail of the Serialized items based on the lowest internal ID and the Lot Numbered items based on the recent expiry date from the desired location. The “Square Refund to NetSuite Cash Refund Add” flow assigns back the inventory details from the cash sale record.
Add additional stores to single Square account
To expand your market reach in multiple marketplaces, regions, or currencies, you will need multiple stores added to a single Square account within the same integration tile. A single store can support up to 10 locations per Square account. If you want to add another Square account, you will need another store added to your account.
Important: A single store can support a maximum of 10 locations per Square account due to API call limitations. If you try adding the 11th location, the integration app throws the error shown in the following screenshot. The workaround for this use case is to add a new integration app tile. For more information, see Install the Square – NetSuite Integration App.
To add an additional store:
- Log in to the integrator.io account with your account credentials.
- Click Square - NetSuite integration app.
-
On the top-right, click + Add Square Account.
-
Click Configure. You will be navigated to the Set up connection page.
-
Click Save & authorize. You will be navigated to the Square account sign-in page.
- Enter the required credentials.
-
Click Sign in.
After the store is added successfully, you can see the newly added store under the All Square Accounts dropdown list.

NetSuite item to track Square tax amount as a line item
Lets you choose the corresponding NetSuite item to track total sales tax in Square against a single line item on the sales order. You need to create an item of "Non-Inventory" type in NetSuite and add it here
