Set up a connection to Dotdigital

Dotdigital is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) marketing platform. It is an online marketing company with personalization tools to simplify workloads like email, marketing automation, and customer engagement service provider.

Set up a connection

This video demonstrates creating a Dotdigital connection.

After you start the connection , you have to configure it in the Create connection panel and must complete all of the required * authentication settings.

Instructions

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections that you’ve created.

Username *

Enter your Dotdigital API account username.

Password *

Enter your Dotdigital API account password.

Multiple layers of protection are in place, including AES 256 encryption, to keep your connection’s password safe. When editing this form later, you must enter this value again; it is stored only for a saved connection.

Region*

Choose the region you want to connect to.

How to retrieve the username and password.

  1. Sign in to your Dotdigital account.

  2. Navigate to User settings > Access. The Access page appears.

  3. Click New user.

  4. Copy the Email address (username).

  5. Enter a Password and copy the value.

  6. Click Save.
