B. Supply required Miva account information

At this point, you’re presented with settings for providing Miva authentication:

Name (required): Provide a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection, and a unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting among a list of connections that you’ve created.

Application (required, non-editable): A reminder of the app you’re editing.

API endpoint (required): Paste your unique account URL, provided in the Miva admin. For example, if your endpoint is set up at https://avim.mivamerchantdev.com/mm5/, enter avim.mivamerchantdev.com/mm5/.

Store code (required): Enter the code, as listed in your Miva store’s settings.

HMAC signature (required): Select the HMAC signature type. Select MIVA (no HMAC present), if “Accept requests without signature” is enabled inside the admin’s Signature section.

Private key (required): Enter the private key of your account. This key generated in the Miva admin as described below. Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your private key safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

To copy your API endpoint, log in to your Miva admin account.

  1. On the Dashboard, click Settings > User management > API tokens.
  2. Click the App to edit its API token.
  3. Under the Signature section, click Require signature with key and click Generate to get a new private key.

API token (required): Enter the API token of your account. The token is generated in the Miva admin as described below. Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your API token safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

To copy your API endpoint, log in to your Miva admin and select Domain settings from the main menu. In the Site configuration section, copy the value of Base URL for graphics (without the protocol https://).

To retrieve your API token and set the connection’s permissions,

  1. While still logged into Miva, select Users from the main menu.
  2. On the Users page, open the API tokens tab.
  3. Click the + button; the Add API token form opens to prompt you to edit the settings.
  1. Name your new token.
  2. Copy the generated Access token for your API access token, above.
  3. Set the Allowed IP address to 0.0.0.0/0.
