Support for Walmart ItemSpec 5.x API

We’ve introduced a new template, Walmart – NetSuite Product Flow (ItemSpec 5.X), to support Walmart’s latest ItemSpec 5.x API, ahead of the deprecation of existing ItemSpec 4.x-based flows in the integration app by August 31, 2025. This enhancement ensures continued product listing functionality and alignment with Walmart’s latest listing standards.

The following product flows in the integration app are now marked as deprecating:

  • (Deprecating on Aug 31, 2025) NetSuite items to Walmart products (add)
  • (Deprecating on Aug 31, 2025) NetSuite items to Walmart products (update)

These flows will no longer be supported after August 31, 2025.

New template

The Walmart – NetSuite Product Flow (ItemSpec 5.X) template is now available via the Celigo marketplace. To get started, first install the template. For installation steps, refer to: Install Walmart – NetSuite Product Flow (ItemSpec 5.X).

Note: After installation, you must complete the one-time migration before using the new flow.

Migration (One-time)

A dedicated migration flow is included to:

  • Automatically migrate existing product type mappings from ItemSpec 4.x
  • Help you transition smoothly to the new flow with minimal manual effort

Flow capabilities

Once the migration is complete, you can begin using the new NetSuite Item to Walmart Item Add/Update flow included in the template. This flow:

  • Supports the latest ItemSpec 5.x API
  • Is delivered outside the integration app as a template, enabling faster updates and independent management
  • Serves as the official replacement for the deprecated ItemSpec 4.x-based product flows
  • Unlike the category-based setup used in the integration app, this template flow replaces it with a more flexible and granular product-type-based structure.
  • Supports over 6,600 unique Walmart Product Types.

Important:

  • Install the new template flow and complete your migration before August 31, 2025.
  • Review your mappings and create new product type records in NetSuite as required by the ItemSpec 5.x model.
