Set up a connection to SAP Analytics Cloud

SAP Analytics Cloud is a unified, cloud‑native analytics platform that combines business intelligence, enterprise planning, and predictive analytics into a single solution.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in theCreate connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Base URL *

Enter your SAP Analytics Cloud account base URL. For example, if your account URL is https://mycompany.eu10.sapanalytics.cloud/, then mycompany.eu10.sapanalytics.cloud is your base URL.

OAuth 2.0 client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by SAP Analytics Cloud.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit (pencil.svg) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.

Tenant name *

Enter your SAP Analytics Cloud account tenant name. For example, if your account URL is https://mycompany.eu10.sapanalytics.cloud, then mycompany is your tenant name.

Region *

Enter your SAP Analytics Cloud account region. For example, if your region URL is https://mycompany.eu10.sapanalytics.cloud, then eu10 is your region.

How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

  1. Sign in to your SAP Analytics Cloud portal.

  2. Navigate to System > Administration > App integration.

  3. Click Add an OAuth client.

  4. Enter a Name.

  5. Enter a Client ID.

  6. Select the Purpose.

  7. Set the Token Details.

  8. Click Add.

  9. Copy the Client secret.
