Payout to Reconciliation Automation for NetSuite release notes v1.0.3, July 2021

What’s new

Braintree payment gateway (new endpoint)

Note: This is available in the Early Adopter Program (EAP).

A new endpoint “Braintree” is available in the Payout to Reconciliation Automation for NetSuite. Braintree is a full-stack payments platform that makes it easy to accept payments in your app or website. Their service replaces the traditional model of sourcing a payment gateway and merchant account from different providers.

The Integration App:

  • Streamlines the reconciliation process by auto-matching the payment gateway settlement transactions against outstanding NetSuite payments.
  • Sync the Braintree transactions (payment and refund) as NetSuite deposits. This scheduled flow deposits funds into a bank account by matching the Braintree transactions against the NetSuite transactions.
  • Reports variances through custom records in NetSuite.

For more information, see Reconcile Braintree transactions to NetSuite.

What’s enhanced

Sync PayPal transactions related to multiple currencies

If you are a PayPal merchant with a single PayPal account and transact in multiple currencies, the Integration App now converts the transactions into specified primary currency and syncs to NetSuite without any variances. You can specify the primary currency code in the new PayPal primary currency code setting. You can enter only one currency code. Be sure the currency code you enter in this field matches the code mentioned in the PayPal currency codes list.

Note: This is an optional field and is applicable only if you’re a merchant who transacts in multiple currencies in Paypal.

For more information, see Reconcile the PayPal payout transactions and Sync PayPal transactions related to multiple currencies.

What’s fixed

PayPal deposit flow ignores transactions with event code T0400 - “General Withdrawal”

The PayPal payout transactions to NetSuite deposits flow ignores to sync transactions related to the PayPal transaction code T0400 “General Withdrawal,” even if you select an account in the Default NetSuite GL account setting.
