Set up a connection to Google Cloud Identity

Google Cloud Identity is an identity and access management service that helps organizations manage users, devices, and secure access to Google Cloud and third-party applications.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

API version

Select your Google Cloud Identity account API version (v1 or v1 Beta 1).

OAuth 2.0 client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by Google Cloud Identity.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit (pencil.svg) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.

Scopes *

Scopes are OAuth 2.0 permissions that Google Cloud Identity defines to limit access to your account.

How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

  1. Sign in to your Google Cloud Console account.

  2. Select your Project.

  3. Navigate to API and services > Enabled APIs and services > +Enable APIs and services.

  4. Search for Google Cloud Identity and click Enable.

  5. Navigate to Credentials > + Create credentials.

  6. Click OAuth client ID.

  7. In Application type, select Web application.

  8. Enter a Name.

  9. Enter the Celigo integrator.io Redirect URL.

  10. Click Create.

  11. Navigate to Data access.

  12. Click Add or remove scopes and select Google Cloud Identity scopes.

  13. Navigate to Credentials and click the Application.

  14. Copy the Client ID.

  15. Copy the Cient secret.

How to configure scopes

  1. Click Scope.

  2. To access all of the scopes in the API, click the » button.

    – or –

    Check the scopes you want to add and click the > button.

  3. Click Save.

Save and authorize

  1. Click Save and authorize to commit your changes and proceed to sign in with Google Cloud Identity.

  2. After signing in, review the permissions for the integration and click Allow.
