Set up a connection to Google Cloud Storage

Google Cloud Storage is a cloud object storage service that helps businesses and developers store, manage, retrieve, and protect any amount of unstructured data for backups, archives, analytics, content delivery, and application data in one scalable system.

You can authenticate a Google Cloud Storage connection using a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) service account.

Tip

This article describes only the settings shown in the Simple view. To configure advanced HTTP settings for this connection, select the HTTP tab in the Create connection panel.

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Setting

Description

Name *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Google service account (iClient ) *

Select an existing iClient or select Create iClient to create one inline. For detailed information on how to create an iClient, see Create a Google service account iClient.

Service account JSON key *

Paste your GCP service account JSON key. integrator.io parses the key, validates that it contains the required fields (project_id, client_email, private_key), and stores the credential encrypted. This field is never displayed again after you save — to update the credential, re-paste the full JSON.

Client email (read-only, post-save)

Displays the client_email value parsed from your service account JSON. Appears after you save the connection.

Advanced

Select Enable PGP encryption if this connection is used to transfer files with PGP encryption or decryption, then configure the PGP settings.
