Restore the "Switch to NetSuite Next" option

Overview

If the Switch to NetSuite Next option is missing from your NetSuite account, NetSuite Next Access may not be enabled for your role. An Administrator can restore access by updating the NetSuite Next Access settings.

Symptoms

You don't see the Switch to NetSuite Next option after signing in to NetSuite.

Cause

The NetSuite Next Access setting controls whether users can access the NetSuite Next experience. If access is disabled for your role, the Switch to NetSuite Next option won't be available.

Resolution

  1. Sign in to NetSuite using the Administrator role.
  2. Go to Setup > Company > AI > NetSuite Next Access.
  3. Select the roles that should have access, or click Select All.
  4. From the access drop-down, choose Optional.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Sign out of NetSuite and sign back in.

The Switch to NetSuite Next option should now be available.

Tip: If the option is still unavailable after signing back in, verify that your role has been updated with the correct NetSuite Next Access setting.

  • Only users with the Administrator role can modify NetSuite Next Access settings.
  • Users must sign out and sign back in for the change to take effect.
