NetSuite Platform Changes: What You Need to Know

NetSuite is deprecating several platform-level features over the next 12 to 24 months, which may affect your integrator.io integrations with NetSuite. No action is required at this time.

Note: Timelines below come from NetSuite where confirmed, and from Celigo's own estimate where NetSuite has not published an official date; all are subject to change and may move later, but NetSuite has indicated they won't move earlier.

Key Dates

  • Approx. 2027.1 — Token-Based Authentication (TBA) is deprecated in favor of OAuth 2.0. Celigo expects to make OAuth 2.0 support available in integrator.io's October 2026 release. See NetSuite's announcement.
  • September 2026 — NetSuite REST API support becomes available in integrator.io, ahead of NetSuite's SOAP web services deprecation.
  • Approx. 2028.1 — SuiteBundle is deprecated in favor of SuiteApp. This is Celigo's own estimate; NetSuite has not published an official timeline for this change.
  • Approx. 2028.1 — NetSuite moves customers on SuiteScript 1.0 and SuiteScript 2.0 to SuiteScript 2.1. This is Celigo's own estimate; NetSuite has not published an official deprecation date.
  • Approx. 2028.2 — NetSuite's SOAP web services are phased out. See NetSuite's announcement.

What This Means for You

  • No action is required right now.
  • The authentication and SuiteBundle changes happen on the backend. You'll only need to confirm the Celigo SuiteApp is installed in your NetSuite account. Learn how to install the SuiteApp.
  • Celigo is still evaluating the SuiteScript 2.1 migration path. For managed integrations, changes begin in 2027.2; guidance for DIY integrations is still being determined.
  • Celigo will assess the impact of the SOAP deprecation on existing NetSuite integrations and share a migration plan as more details are confirmed.

We will share detailed migration guidance well ahead of any required action for each change.
