Support for Shopify expiring offline access tokens
Shopify connections in integrator.io now use Shopify’s expiring offline access tokens. Shopify requires these for all public apps by January 1, 2027. For most stores, the change is automatic, and flows keep running with no action from you. If one Shopify store is connected from more than one integrator.io account, you need to consolidate to a single account. Otherwise, that store’s Shopify connection stops working on January 1, 2027.
Previously, Shopify connections used access tokens that never expired. Now the tokens expire, and integrator.io renews them automatically in the background.
What changed:
- Shopify access tokens expire every 60 minutes, and integrator.io renews them automatically. If each of your stores is connected from only one integrator.io account, you don’t need to do anything.
- Shopify allows only one active token per store, and renewing a token immediately invalidates the previous one. Because of this, each Shopify store can be connected from only one integrator.io account. If you connect a store from a second account, region, or environment, the existing connection goes offline with no warning.
- Celigo migrates eligible connections between November 1 and November 15, 2026, before the Black Friday/Cyber Monday period. This covers both the Shopify - NetSuite integration app and custom flows that use Shopify OAuth 2.0 connections. There’s no downtime and nothing to reinstall. After the migration, check that your flows run normally.
- If a store still has active Shopify connections in more than one integrator.io account on November 1, 2026, Celigo doesn’t migrate it. Its Shopify connection stops working on January 1, 2027.
- If a Shopify connection isn’t used for about 90 days, its authorization expires. You’re then asked to reauthorize it in the connection settings.
Who it’s for: Anyone using Shopify connections in integrator.io. This includes Celigo integration apps that connect to Shopify, such as the Shopify - NetSuite integration app, and custom flows that use Shopify OAuth 2.0 connections.
Action required:
- Each store connected from one integrator.io account: None. Celigo migrates your connections automatically.
-
A store connected from more than one integrator.io account: Before November 1, 2026, work with your Celigo account manager to consolidate to one primary account:
- Choose which integrator.io account stays your primary account.
- Add any users you need from the secondary account to the primary account.
- Disable the Shopify flows for that store in the secondary account. If appropriate, uninstall the integration app from the secondary account.
- You can keep using the secondary account for other work, but its Shopify flows for that store must stay disabled.
Important: Connect a Shopify store from only one region (North America, Europe, Canada, or Australia). Creating connections for the same store in more than one region will take your other account’s connection offline with no warning.

AI assist for Shopify - NetSuite integration app
This release of the Shopify - NetSuite integration app adds Celigo AI assist, an add-on that uses Celigo AI to explain failed and in-progress Shopify orders without changing your order, fulfillment, or refund sync, and a new Celigo AI assist dashboard in NetSuite.
AI assist add-on
Use Celigo AI to find out why Shopify orders didn't sync to NetSuite and what happened to an order, refund, or return, without reviewing each error or opening Shopify, NetSuite, and integrator.io separately. AI assist is advisory and read-only: it doesn't change Shopify data, create or edit NetSuite transactions, or retry or resolve integrator.io errors. It runs on your existing Shopify and NetSuite connections and uses Celigo AI credits: one AI action for each new error pattern and one for each order summarized. To monitor usage, see Track your AI agent actions and credits usage.
Celigo AI assist adds an AI assist flow group with two flows for each store. It saves the results of both flows in NetSuite, where you review them on the Celigo AI assist dashboard.
- Summarize Shopify order, refund, or RMA case with Celigo AI: A real-time flow that builds a case summary for each Shopify order ID or name, Shopify refund ID, or NetSuite RMA number you submit. Each summary shows the current status, gaps between Shopify and NetSuite (for example, a refund with no credit memo), the next owner, and the next action. You submit up to five IDs, separated by commas, from the AI assist settings in integrator.io, from the Summarize an order form on the NetSuite dashboard, or by creating a Celigo AI case request record in NetSuite, and the flow runs immediately. If any ID can't be found, no summaries are created. Requesting a summary again for the same order updates it with the latest status. This flow is turned on by default.
- Triage failed Shopify order syncs with Celigo AI: Groups Shopify orders that failed to sync to NetSuite into error patterns. For each pattern, it reports the cause, severity, owning team, revenue at risk, and retry checklist, and marks a pattern Resolved when no matching open error remains. This flow is turned off by default. Turn it on, and then run it on a schedule, on demand with Run, or from the AI assist settings.
AI assist settings
A new AI assist section on the integration app Settings tab (Settings > AI assist, under Configure all AI assist flows) lets you configure both flows:
- Summarize order, refund, or RMA: Enter up to five IDs, separated by commas, and select Save to run the summarize flow for them.
- Error patterns checked per run: Sets the maximum number of error patterns the triage flow checks per run, newest first. Options: 25, 50 (default), 100, and 200.
- Triage open order sync errors now: Runs the triage flow when you select Save. The triage flow must be turned on.
Celigo AI assist dashboard in NetSuite
A new Celigo AI assist tab in NetSuite gives your order operations, customer service, and finance teams one place to review AI assist results. Go to Celigo AI assist > AI assist to open:
- Dashboard: The Order operations page, where you review results and request summaries. It includes Open patterns, High severity, Needs review, and Revenue at risk metrics; an Order exceptions tab with filters for status, severity, owning team, and cause; an Order cases tab with case summaries, Check again, and Re-check all open; request history; a Summarize an order form that runs the summarize flow in integrator.io directly from NetSuite (up to five IDs per request); and controls to filter by integration app, store, and time window.
- Order exceptions, Case summaries, and Case requests: NetSuite lists of the Celigo AI exception, Celigo AI case summary, and Celigo AI case request records.
The Celigo AI assist Overview page shows open exceptions by cause and owner, high-severity open exceptions, open order exceptions, and recent case summaries.
For setup steps and a full description of the dashboard, see Use Celigo AI assist for Shopify - NetSuite orders.
How AI assist becomes available
- NetSuite production accounts: Celigo updates the NetSuite integration bundle for you.
- NetSuite sandbox accounts: Update the NetSuite integration bundle yourself to get the Celigo AI assist tab and records.
- Existing integration apps: Celigo installs the AI assist add-on and its two flows for every store in your existing Shopify - NetSuite integration apps. You don't need to install anything.
- For a new store added to an existing integration app, a new integration app tile, or a new customer: Install the AI assist add-on yourself from the store's Add-ons tab.
Note: On existing integration apps, the AI assist add-on comes pre-installed. If you don't want to use it, you can uninstall it and install it again later.
