If you use a secure HTTPS AS2 connection, your trading partner may need to update your HTTPS certificate. You can contact your trading partner to determine if they need to update your SSL certificate. Updating the integrator.io SSL certificate allows you to make HTTPS requests to send AS2 messages to integrator.io.
Note: Your trading partner is responsible for updating the HTTPS SSL certificate. The process for updating this certificate depends on the AS2 software being used by the trading partner. Celigo Support staff will not be able to assist with updating this.
An SSL certificate is not the same as an AS2 certificate.
- The SSL certificate is used to establish an HTTP layer connection to integrator.io.
- The AS2 certificate is used to encrypt/decrypt the AS2 message and verify the signature of the AS2 message. The Create and update self-signed SSL certificates for AS2 connections article explains how to create and update a self-signed X.509 certificate for use in the My AS2 Station Configuration. It does not explain how to update an HTTPS SSL certificate.
Three hierarchical certificates make up your connection. The expiring certificate is the “SSL Certificate” (see figure).
Your integrations will not be affected by the expiring certificate unless you are using an HTTPS AS2 connection with a system that does not automatically populate the new certificate.
For customers affected by the changes, ask your trading partners to download the new certificate and update your system manually.
