Set up a connection to Gladly

Gladly is a customer service platform that integrates channels like email, chat, and social media to provide a unified and personalized customer support experience. It focuses on fostering meaningful interactions and simplifying communication for businesses to deliver exceptional customer service.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
Agent email
ID *

Enter your Gladly agent email ID.

API token *

Enter your Gladly API token.

Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your token safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

  1. Sign in to your Gladly admin account. 
  2. Navigate to Settings > Users.

  3. Select the user profile and assign the API user role.
  4. Click Save. For detailed information, see Permissions.
  5. Copy the agent's Email ID.

  3. Click Create token. For detailed information, see Creating API tokens.
  4. Copy the Token.
