Set up a connection to Deel

Deel is a comprehensive platform that simplifies global hiring and payroll processes for remote teams, offering streamlined solutions for contracts, payments, and compliance.

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
Environment *

Select your Deel account environment type: 

  • Production: if your account URL is https://api.letsdeel.com 
  • Sandbox: if your account URL is https://api-staging.letsdeel.com 
Auth type * 

Select your Deel account authentication type (either OAuth 2.0 or token).
OAuth 2.0
client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by Deel.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit ( ) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource
Token *

Enter your Deel API token. 
Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your token safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

Scopes *

Scopes are OAuth 2.0 permissions that Deel defines to limit access to your account.

  1. Sign in to your Deel portal. 

  2. Navigate to Apps & Integrations > Developer Center > Apps tab.

  3. Click Create new app. For more information, see Apps.
  4. Choose App type.
  5. Enter an App name.
  6. Enter integrator.io Redirect URL.
  7. Click Create.
  8. Copy Key (client ID).

  9. Copy Secret (client secret).

  1. Sign in to your Deel portal. 

  2. Navigate to Apps and integrations > API access & sandbox tab.

  3. From the API access tokens section, click Generate new token. For more information, see API token.
  4. Enter a Label name.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select the Scopes.
  7. Click Generate.
  8. Copy the Token.
  1. Click Scope.
  2. To access all of the scopes in the API, click the » button.

    Check the scopes you want to add and click the > button.
  3. Click Save.
