Set up a connection to Revel Systems

Revel Systems is a leading provider of point-of-sale (POS) solutions tailored for the food and retail industries, offering features like order management, inventory tracking, and customer relationship management.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
Domain * Enter your Revel Systems account domain. For example, if your account URL is https://celigo.revelup.com, then celigo.revelup.comis your domain.
Auth type *

Select your Revel Systems account authentication type (either OAuth 2.0 or Custom).

Auth type: Custom
API key *

Enter your Revel Systems API key provided by the Revel Systems customer support team.

API secret *

Enter your Revel Systems API secret provided by the Revel Systems customer support team.

Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your API secret safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

Auth type: OAuth 2.0
Environment *

Select your Revel Systems account environment:

  • Production: if your account URL is https://api.revelsystems.com
  • QA: if your account URL is https://api.qa.revelup.io
OAuth 2.0
client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by Revel Systems.

Enter you Revel Systems client ID and client secret provided by the Revel Systems customer support team.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit ( ) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource
