Set up a connection to NewStore

NewStore is a mobile-first retail platform designed to unify online and in-store shopping experiences by providing integrated solutions for inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer engagement.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
API type *

Choose your NewStore API type:

  • Omnichannel: Get identity provider, user, role, and customer profile details
  • Webhook: Get tax quotation, financial instruments, gift card, and order details
  • Configuration: Get printer, checkout configuration, financial document details
  • Integration: Get price book, product, currency, and shop details
Subdomain *

Enter the NewStore account subdomain. For example, if your account URL is https://test.p.newstore.net, then test is the subdomain. 

OAuth 2.0
client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by NewStore.

Fetch data How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit ( ) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource

Email *
(This setting is visible only when you select Webhook as API type)

Enter your NewStore account username.

Tip: This connector documentation describes only the settings shown for the Simple view. For the corresponding HTTP settings, see OAuth 2.0 universal connector documentation.

  1. Sign in to your NewStore account. 
  2. Navigate to Omnichannel manager > Settings > User and roles > API clients.
  3. Enter a Name and select the Scopes.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Copy the Client ID.
  6. Copy the Client secret.
