Using definition files for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transformation, Integrator.io converts EDI to JSON format. This conversion process allows you to export, transform, and import files, records, and source content from one application to another.
For example, you can export a purchase order EDI file from an FTP host and import the data into NetSuite.
When exporting an EDI file from an FTP host, set [File Type = EDI], and [EDI Format = Amazon 850]. The values appearing in the EDI Format drop-down list box helps integrator.io identify the EDI file type based on the EDI and converts to JSON for the Import step.
When importing the EDI file to an FTP host, set [File Type = EDI], and [EDI Format = Amazon 850]. The values in the EDI Format drop-down will allow integrator.io to identify the EDI file type to be sent to the FTP host. Integrator.io then converts the JSON context fie generated during the export/transform step into the selected EDI Format.
