Before you install
- Refer to the Greenhouse - Azure Active Directory Quickstart template prerequisites table.
- Note: You can refer to the ReadMe link to the right on your template install setup page.
- Keep your Greenhouse and AzureAD credentials ready:
- Azure:Keep your Microsoft username and password ready.
- Note: Refer to the Additional References section of the AzureAD-Greenhouse template for helping in finding your endpoint.
- Greenhouse: Before you set up a Greenhouse connection from the Integration tile, ensure that you have the API and authentication details for your Greenhouse app.
- Refer to the Greenhouse help documentation to know more about APIs and Authentication.
- To generate User Id refer to the Greenhouse help documentation to list all the Greenhouse users in an organization.
- Steps to generate the Greenhouse API Token:
- Login to your Greenhouse account.
- From the settings icon at the top-right, click Devcenter.
- Click API Credentials.
- Copy the Harvest API Key.
- Login to your Greenhouse account.
- Azure:Keep your Microsoft username and password ready.
Choose & install your template
Find your Quickstart template in Marketplace
- Sign up or Sign In into your integrator.io account.
- At the top, click Marketplace.
- Scroll through the catalog and click on the Azure Active Directory or Greenhouse integration tiles.
- Click on the Greenhouse - Azure Active Directory integration tile.
- You’ll see a list of Quickstart templates under the Azure Active Directory or Greenhouse integration tiles.
- Click on the Install link from the Greenhouse - Azure Active Directory template tile.
- The Install Wizard displays the list of components that it would create in your integrator. io account once the Greenhouse - Azure Active Directory Quickstart template is installed successfully.
- Click Install Integration.
- Read the Disclaimer carefully and click Proceed.
- You’ll be redirected to the Setup page.
Set up & install Greenhouse - Azure Active Directory Quickstart template
You need to set up connections using your Greenhouse and Azure Active Directory credentials to integrate the two apps.
Set up Azure Active Directory Connection
Refer to the Azure Active Directory connection prerequisites before you set up a connection.
Configure Azure Active Directory Connection
- From your template install setup page, click Click to Configure link to open the connection settings.
- A connection dialog will open. Enter your Azure Active Directory connection details, as shown below:
Note: Fields marked ‘*’ are mandatory.
- * Name: Enter a name for your connection.
- * Connection type: We automatically select the Azure Active Directory for you.
Click Advanced Settings in the connection dialog to expand the drop-down: - Configure Scopes (Optional): You can add or clear scopes in the scope dialog as shown below Scopes are permissions you provide to the template to access and perform certain actions on your Azure Active Directory. You can limit permissions for a template using scopes. To define a scope for your Greenhouse-Azure Active Directory template, click Configure Scopes.
You can add or clear scopes in the scope dialog, as shown below:- Add all scopes: Choosing this option gives the template full permission to access and perform actions on your Azure Active Directory. By default, we add all scopes to the template.
- Clear all scopes: This field allows you to clear all scopes defined in the template.
- To selectively clear a scope from a list of the added scopes, click ‘X’ next to a scope.
- Disable Strict SSL (Optional): Selecting this option will skip SSL certificate verification. This field allows self-signed or expired certificates. We recommend that you do not enable this checkbox for your production data connections.
- Borrow Concurrency Form (Optional): This field allows the user to borrow the number of disparate operations performed at a given time as another. Enter this field if you’re integrating multiple apps that need to use the same level of operations. Concurrency Level (Optional): If you do not want to borrow the concurrency levels you’ve set in other apps, you can enter your personalized concurrency levels here.
- Click Save & Authorize to save your connection.
- You’ll be redirected to the Microsoft login page.
- Enter your registered Email and click Next.
- Enter your password and click Sign in.
You've successfully connected the Greenhouse-Azure Active Directory Quickstart template with your Azure Active Directory app.
Set up a Greenhouse connection
Refer to the Greenhouse connection prerequisites before you set up a connection.
Configure Greenhouse connection
- From your template install setup page, click Click to Configure link to open the connection settings.
- A connection dialog will open.
- Enter your Greenhouse connection details, as shown below:
Note: Fields marked ‘*’ are mandatory.- * Name: Enter a name for your connection.
- * Connection type: We automatically select Greenhouse for you.
- * API Token: Enter your Harvest API Key.
- * User ID: Enter your Greenhouse user Id.
Click Advanced Settings in the connection dialog to expand the drop-down: - Borrow Concurrency Form: This field allows the user to borrow the number of disparate operations performed at a given time as another. Enter this field if you’re integrating multiple apps that need to use the same level of operations.
- Concurrency Level (Optional): If you do not want to borrow the concurrency levels you’ve set in other apps, you can enter your personalized concurrency levels here.
- Click Test to test your connection.
- Once you test your Greenhouse connection, click Save.
