Tableau is a powerful data visualization and business intelligence platform that enables users to turn complex data into easily understandable visual insights. After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Sign in to your Tableau account.

Navigate to Avatar > My account settings.

Copy the Username.

Ensure that your site admin has enabled PAT creation and granted you the required permissions. For more information, see Configure PAT creation and expiration.

Sign in to your Tableau account.

Navigate to Avatar > My account settings > Personal access tokens.

Enter a Name.

Click Create token.

Copy the Token name (PAT name).

Copy the secret (PAT secret).

Click Done.
