When building a flow that has a chain of multiple lookups or imports, later steps in a flow might rely on data returned from responses from previous lookups or imports. Response or results mapping allows you to merge data returned by lookups or responses returned by imports back into the source data.
For example, you can configure a flow step to find a certain value in a field, and when the value is detected, the flow step will perform an import or a lookup. If the value is absent from the record in the source data, you can define how that record should be handled (like skipping the record in the import application).
