BigCommerce customers to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Customers

The flow syncs the customers from BigCommerce as customers in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The flow creates customers in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central only if a matching customer is not found. If a matching customer is found, the flow updates the customer by email.

Before you begin

Verify that the Single Customer Address Book is imported into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for Customers record type.

Note: Multiple Address Books are not supported in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Setup instructions

Configure a filter in the search parameters at export for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Company record type. Provide the company name in the filter to retrieve company details.

BigCommerce orders to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sales orders

The flow syncs the orders from BigCommerce as sales orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The flow creates sales orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central only if a matching sales order is not found. If a matching sales order is found, the flow ignores the sales order by external order number.

Before you begin

1. Verify the Single Customer Address Book is imported into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for Customers record type.

   Note: Multiple Address Books is not supported in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

2. Verify that products in BigCommerce and items in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central store the same values.
3. Verify that payment method name in BigCommerce and payment method displayName in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central store the same values.

Setup instructions

1. Set the concurrency level to 1 for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central connection.
2. Configure a filter record type in the search parameters at export for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Company. Provide the company name in the filter to retrieve company details.
3. Configure a dynamic map for paymentMethodId in mapping on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central customers import.
4. Configure mapping for type in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central customers import.
5. Configure multi-field for displayName in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central customers import.

This flow syncs the sales invoices from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as billings in BigCommerce. The flow retrieves the sales invoices from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using the SO status as Pending.
