Set up a connection to Freshsales (Formerly Freshworks CRM)

Freshsales (formerly Freshworks CRM) is an intuitive CRM with built-in phone and email, tasks, appointments, and notes, that help sales reps do hassle-free prospects.

Set up a connection

This video demonstrates creating a Freshsales connection.

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings.

Setting	Instructions
Name your connection*	Enter a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections that you’ve created.
Subdomain*	Enter your Freshsales subdomain. For example, if your Freshsales account is located athttps://test96529.myfreshworks.com/crm/sales/,then test96529 is your subdomain., then test96529 is the subdomain.
API key*	Enter your Freshsales API key. Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your API key safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text. How to retrieve the API key

How to retrieve the API key

1. Sign in to your Freshsales account.
2. Click on your profile picture at the top right corner of your portal.
3. Click the Pencil icon to navigate to Personal settings > API settings.
4. Copy API key.
