Set up a connection to Walmart

Walmart is an eCommerce platform that helps users to shop online.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
API type * Choose the API type depending on the Walmart API type you're connecting to (Walmart US, Walmart Canada, or Walmart Mexico). The settings then become specific to the selected API type.

Environment * Select your Walmart US account environment (Production or Sandbox).
Client ID * Enter your Walmart US client ID.
Fetch data How to retrieve the client ID
Client secret * Enter your Walmart US client secret.
Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your authentication secret safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

  1. Sign in to your Walmart US developer account.
  2. Click My account.
  3. Select Marketplace.
  4. Sign in with your email address and password.
  5. Copy Client ID.
  6. Copy Client secret.

Setting Instructions
Consumer ID * Enter your Walmart Canada consumer ID.
Fetch data How to retrieve the consumer ID
Locale ID Select a value for an English or French Canadian locale.
Private key * Enter Walmart Canada private key.

  1. Sign in to your Walmart Canada developer account.
  2. Click My account.
  3. Select Marketplace.
  4. Sign in with your email address and password.
  5. Copy Consumer ID.
  6. Copy Private key.
