Instructions

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

API type *

Choose your Microsoft Fabric API type:

  • Fabric: Access and manage data, analytics, and workspace resources to build, orchestrate, and monitor data and AI workloads across Microsoft Fabric.

  • Event Hubs: Stream, ingest, and process real-time event data to support analytics, monitoring, and event-driven applications at scale.

Fabric API type:

Scope *

Scopes are OAuth 2.0 permissions that Microsoft Fabric defines to limit access to your account.

Event Hubs API type:

Tenant ID *

Enter your Microsoft Fabric tenant ID (the CTID in the tenant URL). For information on retrieving the tenant ID, see Region.

Event Hubs namespace *

Enter your Event Hubs namespace. For information on retrieving the namespace, see Create namespace.

OAuth 2.0 client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by Microsoft Fabric. To connect an external application to Azure Event Hubs using secure OAuth 2.0 authentication, you must register the application in Microsoft Entra ID and then grant that registration permissions to your Event Hub.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus ( + ) button. Click the Edit button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.
