Zendesk - NetSuite integration app release notes, 2026.3.1

What's enhanced

Upgrade your Zendesk connection to OAuth 2.0

Zendesk is updating its authentication standards to enhance platform security and reliability. As part of this change, Zendesk is moving away from legacy Basic and API token–based authentication in favor of OAuth 2.0 with refresh token support.

To stay aligned with Zendesk’s authentication guidelines and ensure uninterrupted automation between NetSuite and Zendesk, the Zendesk - NetSuite integration app now supports OAuth 2.0 authentication.

This upgrade ensures your integration remains secure, stable, and fully compliant with Zendesk’s mandated authentication requirements.

What’s changing

  • A new OAuth 2.0 authentication option is now available in the Zendesk connection settings.
  • Basic authentication has been removed. Token-based and Custom authentication methods will be deprecated in a future release to further enhance security and compliance alignment.

Key dates

April 30, 2026: All Zendesk connections must be migrated to OAuth 2.0.

After this date, legacy authentication methods will no longer be supported by Zendesk and may cause integration failures.
