ServiceNow FAQ

Q1: Why is my ServiceNow instance hibernating?

ServiceNow controls the instance's Hibernation, and Celigo integrator.io does not have control over changing the number of active hours.

If you continue using it actively throughout the day, you should have around 6 hours of inactivity before hibernation begins. That is sufficient for anyone using it on a normal workday. If you try signing in the evening, it might require waking up again. But in most cases, a single wake should last through the entire day unless you do it early and don't touch it all day.

If you require an instance that does not hibernate or get reclaimed, take part in the Technology Partner Program. Then, ServiceNow provides an instance that will not hibernate and expire due to inactivity. However, this instance comes with yearly pricing. For more information, see Hibernation and developer instances.
