Provide mock output data for exports and lookups

You can save and use mock output data in the Mock output section of the Edit export panel as simulated output data when configuring a flow. Enter your own sample data in the integrator.io canonical format. You can either edit the mock data directly in the Mock output or click the Expand Window (Expand editor) button to view the mock data in a JSON editor. If no mock data has been added to the flow step, click Populate with preview data to replace mock output in this editor with preview data retrieved from the export application. The mock output data you enter displays in the Preview panel when you click Preview.

If the entry provided does not match canonical format, a message “Mock output must be in integrator.io canonical format” prompts you to edit the mock data. Your mock data file can’t exceed 1 MB, and the mock data is limited to a maximum of 10 records or 10 rows.

Note: If the connection used in the export is offline, then the Populate with preview data is disabled. When you hover, you are prompted with a message “Bring your connection online to enable this action.”

Add mock output data to webhook listeners

You can also save mock output data to generic webhook listeners. This works the exact same way as for Mock output for Exports and Lookups, except that it is not possible to fetch preview data to populate the mock data field. Click the Expand Window (Expand editor) button to open and view the single pane JSON editor.
