Set up a basic auth connection to HiBob

HiBob is an HR platform that simplifies people management, modernizes the work experience, and brings out the best in every employee.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Setting

Instructions

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Environment *

Select your HiBob account environment:

  • Production: if your account URL is https://app.hibob.com

  • Sandbox: if your account URL is https://app.sandbox.hibob.com

Auth type *

Select Basic as the authentication type for this connection (the Token option is described separately).

Username *

Enter your HiBob account username.

How to retrieve the username

Password *

Enter your HiBob account password.

Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your password safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

How to retrieve the password

Partner token

Enter your HiBob partner token. You can leave this setting blank if you do not have a direct agreement with HiBob. If you do have an agreement, enter your token by appending your client name.

Tip

This connector documentation describes only the settings shown for the Simple view. For the corresponding HTTP settings, see Basic auth universal connector documentation.
