You can install multiple Shopify stores using a single NetSuite account within the same integration tile to expand your market reach in multiple marketplaces, regions, or currencies. To install an additional store, you require a separate subscription license.
- Log in to the integrator.io account with your account credentials.
- Click Shopify - NetSuite integration app.
- On the top-right, click Add Shopify Store.
Step 1: Set up Shopify connection
- On the Add new Shopify store page, next to step 1, click Configure.
Make sure that the Shopify owner/super admin creates a connection via OAuth. For more information on how to set up a Shopify connection, see Set up a connection to Shopify.
Step 2: Install multi-store components
Prerequisite: Be sure to install the Shopify bundle in your NetSuite account.
This step is initially shown as Multi-store components. After you set up a connection with Shopify, this step is changed to Install Shopify bundle.
- On the Add new Shopify store page, next to step 2, click Install.
- You'll be redirected to the NetSuite login page. Log in with your NetSuite account credentials to install the bundle.
- Click Verify.
Step 3: Configure store
You can configure a new Shopify store in one of the following ways:
- Configure new store manually: Choose this option to configure all the required settings and mappings manually.
- Clone an existing Shopify store: Choose this option to clone the store components from one of the existing Shopify stores.
Step 3a: Configure new store manually
- On the Add new Shopify store page, next to step 3, click Configure.
- On the Configure store window, select Configure new store manually.
- Click Submit.
Step 3b: Clone an existing Shopify store
Prerequisite: Before you clone the store, ensure that the source store is upgraded to the latest version of the integration app.
- On the Add new Shopify store page, next to step 3, click Configure.
- On the Configure store window, select Clone an existing Shopify store.
- From the Select an existing store drop-down menu, select a store.
- Click Submit.
After successful integration, the new store components are installed in NetSuite and you will see the integration details. The newly added store is visible in the store drop-down menu on the top right.
- If the flow is scheduled, after cloning, the flow schedule is cloned, and the flow is automatically disabled.
- Only active stores within the integration app tile are applicable for cloning.
- Any partially installed store is not applicable for cloning.
- The schedule status for each integration flow
- The import, exports, settings, and mappings
- The flow status to the new store (enabled or disabled)
- any store-specific IDs
- saved search settings
- add-ons
After you clone the new store, it is recommended to update the values in the below settings manually and click Save.
- Buy online, pick up in-store (Settings > Order section > POS tab)
- NetSuite locations to pick inventory from (Settings > Inventory)
- Auto-bill orders in NetSuite when the status is * (Settings > Billing)
- NetSuite currency to sync product price (Settings > Product)
- NetSuite price level to sync product price (Settings > Product)
- Enable virtual variations (Settings > Product)
- NetSuite field identifier for the variation parent item (Settings > Product)
After store cloning, the integration app does not refresh metadata. Before you run any integration flow, it is recommended to refresh the below settings.
- Map NetSuite locations with Shopify Locations (Settings > General)
- Map Ship Methods (Settings > Order > Shipping). The maximum number of mappings recommended under the Map Ship Methods setting is 1000 to ensure the app runs smoothly.
- Map Payment Methods (Settings > Order > Payment)
- All the other settings in which you select the NetSuite item (which has a refresh icon).
Fix the error
When adding a new store, if you face an error where the system takes you back to the home page after selecting a connection, perform the following:
- From the Auth type dropdown list, select Basic. For more information, see Set up a basic auth connection to Shopify.
- Enter the store name manually. See Step 3a: Configure new store manually.
- Switch back the authentication type to OAuth 2.0.
- Click Save & authorize to save the changes instead of clicking Continue at Shopify store.
- Log in as a Shopify account owner.
- Click Update app if an update is requested after logging in.
This completes the configuring Shopify connection step, now continue with the rest of the installation.
