Set up a connection to Amazon Pay

Amazon Pay is a fast, secure, and convenient way to make payments online and on mobile.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection * 

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Environment * 

Select your Amazon Pay account environment:

  • Live:

    • US: if your account URL is https://pay-api.amazon.com

    • EU: if your account URL is https://pay-api.amazon.eu

    • JP: if your account URL is https://pay-api.amazon.jp

  • Sandbox

    • US: if your account URL is https://pay-api.amazon.com/sandbox

    • EU: if your account URL is https://pay-api.amazon.eu/sandbox

    • JP: if your account URL is https://pay-api.amazon.jp/sandbox

Region * 

Select your Amazon Pay account region (either EU, JP, or US).

Public key ID * 

Enter your Amazon Pay public key ID.

How to retrieve the Public key ID:

Algorithm *  

Select your Amazon Pay algorithm.

Private key * 

Enter your Amazon Pay private key.

Multiple layers of protection are in place, including AES 256 encryption, to keep your connection’s key safe. When editing this form later, you must enter this key again; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

How to retrieve the Public key ID and private key

  1. Sign in to your Amazon Pay Seller Central account.

  2. Navigate to Integration > Integration central.

  3. From the Marketplace switcher, select Sandbox. The API credentials page opens.

  4. In eCommerce solution provider, select Self-developed.

  5. Click Get instructions. For detailed instructions, see Integration.

  6. Navigate to API access > API keys.

  7. Click Create API keys.

  8. Copy the Public key ID.

  9. Copy the Private key.
