To create a flow step, you need to configure specific settings. Instead of creating each component of a flow from scratch, you can reuse existing flow steps from your integrations or the Celigo Marketplace.
After you select an Application and choose the Flow step type, the reusable source or destination options will automatically appear in the drop-down menu based on your selected application.
Enter a clear and concise description of the flow step in the Describe your flow step field. The text you enter is interpreted as a natural language search (NLS) to filter prebuilt steps. This field is limited to 300 characters, and you can enter keywords, examples, or use cases, that describe the purpose of the flow step. The Celigo platform will use the description you provide to find comparable flow steps that already exist in your account integrations and the Marketplace templates.
The Name your flow step field allows you to reference the step in other parts of the application. The flow step name also acts as a natural language search (NLS) input to filter prebuilt steps (limited to 300 characters).
On the right side, in the Optionally choose from pre-built flow steps section, you can filter and choose similar flow steps that already exist in your account integrations (My account) and the Marketplace templates. You can further filter your search by Source (All, My account, Marketplace), Connection, and Sort by (Similarity score, Date modified) fields. Each suggested flow step has a similarity score indicating how closely it matches your criteria. The search results are based on the Name your flow step and Describe your flow step fields. A higher similarity score percentage represents a stronger match.
If a suitable prebuilt flow step exists, click Use flow step to reuse it. The selected step’s name and description will replace your input (but can be edited later). If no suitable match is found, click Next to proceed with creating a new flow step. The entered name and description are carried forward to the next steps.
