If you don't want to use a resource, you can delete and purge it from your account. Before you can delete it, you must unlink it wherever it's used. You can restore a resource after it's been deleted but before it's been purged. Resources in the Recycle bin are kept for at least 30 days, though it depends on your account's data retention policy. In the examples below, we're deleting a connection.
Caution
For connections with iClients, you must delete and purge the connection to completely remove it from the account before you can delete the iClient.
Before you delete a resource, you must remove references to it from other resources. After removing all references to your resource, you can delete it. You'll receive the following error if you haven't removed all references:
To remove references to your resource:

A pop-up displaying all the Used by references appears. Click the link to navigate to the reference. You can remove the resource and/or replace it with a different one. In the example image, two exports and one flow use the connection you want to remove. Navigate to the exports and flow and replace the connection.

When deleting a connection from a Used by resource, you must replace it with a different one.
The Recycle bin keeps recently deleted resources for at least 30 days. If you don't unlink your resource, you won't be able to delete it. You can recover a deleted resource before it's purged by restoring it. To delete a resource:
