Import Order in Magento throwing "Inactive Item" error

Problem: Although the item is active in NetSuite, an error similar to an inactive item is occurring. Error: 'A mapping error occurred. Could not find a match for "[["nameinternal","is"," LG-OP-VR-AYN- GREEN-PALMS"],"AND",["isinactive","is","F"]]" for the record type "item".'

Solution: Verify the item SKU in NetSuite, to be sure there are no extra lead/trail spaces or any unicode characters being added. In the screenshot below, the SKU has a zero-width space character (hidden in UI) which caused the failure.
