Set up a connection to Paycor

Paycor is a payroll service, human resources information system (HRIS), and human capital management (HCM) cloud-based software company. It helps businesses manage onboarding, taxes, and compliance.

Note

  • This connector does not currently support OAuth 2.0 authentication. If your Paycor integration requires an OAuth 2.0 connection, see Set up an OAuth 2.0 connection to Paycor.

  • According to Paycor, you should regularly change your public and private keys. They will expire after one year, and you must contact your Paycor main administrator to obtain a new pair.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Setting

Instructions

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Public key *

Enter your Paycor public key provided by the Paycor team.

Private key *

Enter your Paycor private key provided by the Paycor team.

Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your private key safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

Tip

This connector documentation describes only the settings shown for the Simple view. For the corresponding HTTP settings, see Custom auth universal connector documentation.

Important

To enable full integrator.io access to the Paycor API, you must contact Paycor to provide the list of IP addresses to whitelist.
