Update sales price for an Amazon item via pricing or product flow mappings

You can update the sales price for an item in Amazon using the NetSuite Item Price to Amazon Product Price Add/Update. You can create a custom field in NetSuite and source the value from the custom field. 

Note: if you’re providing a sale price, you must configure the mappings for the sale start date and sale end date.

NetSuite Item Price to Amazon Product Price Add/Update

Step 1: Create custom fields in NetSuite

Tip: Create custom fields for Sale Price, Sale Start Date, and Sale End Date.

  1. Log in to your NetSuite account.
  2. Go to Customization > Lists, Record & Fields > Item Fields > New.
  3. On the Custom Item Field page, in the Label field, enter the custom field name.
  4. From the Type drop-down menu, 
    1. For Sale Price field, select Number or Free Form Text.
    2. For Sale Start Date and Sale End Date fields, select Date.
  5. In the Applies To tab, check the Inventory Item and Assembly/Bill of Materials boxes.
    Note: If kit items are applicable, check the Kit/package box.
  6. Click Save

Step 2: Update the saved search in NetSuite

  1. Log in to your NetSuite account.
  2. In the global search bar, enter Celigo Amazon Pricing Export Search.
  3. From the saved search results, select the appropriate saved search.
  4. On the Celigo Amazon Pricing Export Search: Results page, click Edit this Search.
  5. Go to Results tab > Columns sub-tab.
  6. Click in the Field column, to add new rows:

  7. Click Save.

Step 3: Configure flow mappings

  1. Log in to your integrator.io account
  2. Go to Flows > Pricing.
  3. Next to the NetSuite Item Price to Amazon Product Price Add/Update flow, click Mappings.
  4. Configure the following mappings:

    Export field (NetSuite)

    Import field (Amazon MWS)

    Sale Price

    SaleSalePrice

    Sale Start Date

    SaleStartDate

    Sale End Date

    SaleEndDate

  5. For Sale Start Date and Sale End Date mappings, click Settings next to the mappings.
    1. In the Export date format drop-down menu, select the format as per your NetSuite saved search. Example: MM/DD/YYYY.

    2. In the Import date format drop-down menu, select YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ssZ
    3. Click Save.

  6. Click Save and close.

NetSuite Item to Amazon Product Add/Update

If you want to update the sales price for an Amazon item while creating the item itself, you can configure the mappings in the NetSuite Item to Amazon Product Add/Update flow.

Step 1: Create custom fields in NetSuite

Step 2: Configure flow mappings

  1. Log in to your integrator.io account
  2. Go to Flows > Product.
  3. Next to the NetSuite Item to Amazon Product Add/Update flow, click Mappings.
  4. On the top-right corner, click to expand the Filters drop-down menu.
  5. Check all the available boxes in the Filters drop-down menu.

  6. After you check the boxes, all the available Amazon fields are displayed.
  7. Below the Common section, in the following fields, you can either select the custom field from the drop-down menu or enter the internal ID of the NetSuite custom field.

  8. Click Save and close.
