Shopify - NetSuite release notes v 1.38.0, July 2021

What’s enhanced

Upgrade Integration App to support latest Shopify API version 2021-07

The Integration App is upgraded to support the latest Shopify API version from 2020-10 to 2021-07.

Compare and calculate Shopify payout transactions with accurate currency in NetSuite

If the Shopify store currency is not the same as payout currency, the Shopify payout transactions to NetSuite deposit flow is enhanced to compare and calculate the payout transactions with accurate currency in NetSuite. A new check box Different store and payout currency is introduced in the Settings > Payout section. Check this box for the flow to consider the amount in NetSuite native currency to compare the Shopify payout transaction amounts before creating variances in NetSuite. By default, the check box is disabled.

Example: If you are a Shopify US merchant selling in the EU marketplace. the Shopify store currency and all the transactions are in EURO and the payouts are created in USD. The NetSuite transactions are created in EURO. When you sync the payouts to NetSuite, all the transaction amounts are in USD with values converted as per exchange rate (between EURO and USD). In NetSuite, the deposit is created as per the base currency, that is the US. In this scenario, check the box to avoid creating variances.

Identify the “Buy online, pickup in store” orders correctly

The previous identifiers used to identify the Buy online, pick in store orders are removed by Shopify. With the latest Shopify API version upgrade, the Shopify fulfillment to NetSuite item fulfillment flow is enhanced to identify the Buy online, pick in store orders using the delivery_method field.

Updated Shopify flow and setting names

The flow names and their descriptions, and setting names and their descriptions are updated in the Integration App.

Important: As the names are updated, if you are using the Clone Shopify - NetSuite Integration App template, it is required to re-install the template again from the Celigo marketplace to reflect the latest name changes.

What’s fixed

Sync POS orders correctly

Only when the Sync "Buy in-store, ship to customer" orders as a sales order box is checked, the order flow doesn’t sync the normal POS orders as sales orders.
