Shopify - NetSuite integration app R1 release notes, January 2022

What’s enhanced

Get metafield definitions for products and their variants from Shopify to integration app

The integration app is enhanced to get the metafield definitions configured for the product and their variants from Shopify to the integration app. To get the metafield definitions, a new check box Sync Shopify metafield definitions is introduced in the Settings > General section. Check the box to get the metafield definitions for the Shopify products and their variants to the integration app. If you add or update the metafield definitions in Shopify, ensure to check the box and click Save in the Settings tab to get the metafields with the appropriate metafield type. If the metafield definitions are not created in Shopify, the item or matrix item flow assigns one of the default metafield types (single_line_text_field, number_integer, number_decimal, boolean, JSON, or date) based on the metafield value.

Note: As per Shopify’s latest changes, the value_Type field is replaced with the type field from Shopify API version 2021-10. The integration app is enhanced to support the change.

For more information, see Manage metafield definitions for Shopify products and their variants.

Upgrade integration app to support latest Shopify API version 2021-10

The integration app is upgraded to support the latest Shopify API version from 2021-07 to 2021-10.
