Quickstart configure your integration app

While installing the Shopify – NetSuite integration app, you can now set up your integration app by configuring the required settings using the Quickstart configuration window. On the Shopify – NetSuite integration app installation page, on the Quickstart configuration window, either choose Configure now or Configure later.

What’s enhanced

Get metafield definitions for customers from Shopify to integration app

The integration app is enhanced to get the metafield definitions configured for the customers from Shopify to the integration app. To get the metafield definitions, check the Sync Shopify metafield definitions box in the Settings > General section. If you add or update the metafield definitions in Shopify or if you manage the metafields from a third-party application, make sure to check the box and click Save in the Settings tab to get the metafield type for the respective metafields. If the metafield definitions are not created in Shopify, the integration app assigns one of the default metafield types (single_line_text_field, number_integer, number_decimal, Boolean, JSON, or date) based on the metafield value. 

Sync long values without truncating in Shopify

The NetSuite item to Shopify product (add or update) and NetSuite matrix item to Shopify product (add or update) flows are enhanced to sync long values on Shopify product item fields without truncating them. If the NetSuite saved search truncates any long values by default, the flow fetches these values again and syncs the complete exact value to Shopify.
