Set up a connection to B2B Shipping Labels (powered by BarTender)

B2B Shipping Labels connector enables BarTender Cloud integration for automated shipping label generation, supporting print triggers and label file retrieval within the B2B Manager ecosystem.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Region *

Select your B2B Shipping Labels (BarTender) account region (America, APAC, or Europe).

Organization domain ID *

Enter the B2B Shipping Labels (BarTender) organization domain ID.

Auth type *

Select your B2B Shipping Labels (BarTender) authentication type (OAuth 2.0 or Token).

OAuth 2.0 client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by BarTender.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit (pencil.svg) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.

Username *

Enter your B2B Shipping Labels (BarTender) username.

Password *

Enter your B2B Shipping Labels (BarTender) password.

Multiple layers of protection are in place, including AES 256 encryption, to keep your connection’s password safe. When editing this form later, you must enter this password again; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

Token *

Enter your B2B Shipping Labels (BarTender) token.

Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your API token safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

How to retrieve the organization domain ID

  1. Sign in to your BarTender Cloud account.

  2. Navigate to Administration > SettingsGlobal settings.

  3. Copy the Organization domain ID.

How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

  1. Sign in to your BarTender Cloud account.

  2. Navigate to AdministrationAPI keys.

  3. Click Console applications and services (Password-based) and follow the steps described in the Password-based access section.

How to retrieve the token

  1. Sign in to your BarTender Cloud account.

  2. Navigate to AdministrationAPI keys.

  3. Click Console applications and services (Password-based) and follow the steps described in the Refresh access token section.
