Set up a connection to Medallia Experience Cloud

Medallia Experience Cloud is a cloud-based experience management (XM) platform that helps organizations collect, analyze, and act on customer, employee, and operational feedback to improve experiences across every touchpoint.

The Medallia Experience Cloud connector is in BETA and may be subject to changes.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection * 

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

API type *

Choose your Medallia Experience Cloud account API type:

  • Core: Access Medallia APIs to retrieve and manage experience data, feedback, users, and other platform resources through a single integration endpoint

  • Conversations: Connect external communication channels to Medallia to capture customer interactions and deliver feedback into Medallia experience management workflows

API gateway host * (only for Core API)

Enter your Medallia Experience Cloud API gateway host. For more information on the API gateway host, see Authentication.

Conversations API gateway host * (only for Conversations API)

Enter your Medallia Experience Cloud Conversations API gateway host. For more information on the Conversations API gateway host, see Authentication.

Reporting host *

Enter your Medallia Experience Cloud reporting host. For more information on the reporting host, see Authentication.

Tenant *

Enter your Medallia Experience Cloud account tenant ID. For example, if your Medallia Experience Cloud account URL is https://celigo1.medallia.com, then celigo1 is your tenant ID.

OAuth 2.0 client *

Enter your Medallia Experience Cloud account client ID and secret. For more information on retrieving your client ID and secret, see Client credentials.
