Move a tool to another integration

Moving a tool changes which integration it belongs to without copying it — the same tool, with the same references from flows and agents, appears under a different integration. Use it to gather shared tools into a dedicated integration, or to put a tool next to the flows that use it. This article shows integrator.io users how to move a tool.

Important

Prerequisites: Only account owners, administrators, and users with Manage access to both the tool’s current integration and the destination integration can move a tool. Users with Monitor access can’t move tools.

Move a tool

  1. Go to AI studio, and then select Tools.
  2. In the tool's row, select Actions > Move to integration.
  3. Under Option, keep Move to existing integration and choose the integration in Select integration — or select Create new integration to make one first. See Create your first integration.
  4. Select Next.

The tool's Integration column on the Tools page shows the new integration. Flows, APIs, agents, and MCP servers that reference the tool keep working; nothing in them changes.
