Update fields for transfer order records in NetSuite
When a transfer order record is created in NetSuite, perform the following actions:
- In the eTail tab, check the Case pack shipment box.
- In the Items tab, enter a value for all items in the Quantity in case field.
- Check the Case pack shipment box and enter a value for all items in the Quantity in case field.
- If you check the Case pack shipment box and do not enter values for few or all items in the Quantity in case field, an error message is displayed when you run the NetSuite Transfer Order to Amazon Inbound Shipment flow.
- If you enter values for all items in the Quantity in case field and do not check the Case pack shipment box, an error message is displayed when you run the NetSuite Transfer Order to Amazon Inbound Shipment flow.
- When Quantity in case for an item is "1" and the Case pack shipment box is checked, the transfer order will be processed as case pack shipment with an error notification "Individual products provided for "Product name" in "CeligoCarton0" for a case-packed shipment".
This warning from Amazon doesn't affect the transfer order and can be resolved in the Error management dashboard. The error notification will be displayed in the Post Amazon shipment carton contents step of the NetSuite Transfer Order to Amazon Inbound Shipment flow.
Amazon shipment carton contents
The Post Amazon shipment carton contents step is added in the NetSuite Transfer Order to Amazon Inbound Shipment flow to update the shipment carton contents specifying the SKU, the Amazon shipment ID, and the number of items per carton to Amazon.
This step will only update the shipment carton contents only if you have checked the Case pack shipment box and enter a value for all items in the Quantity in case field (or the custom field selected) in NetSuite.
- If you check the Case pack shipment box and do not enter values for few or all items in the Quantity in case field (or the custom field selected) in NetSuite, an error message is displayed when you run the NetSuite Transfer Order to Amazon Inbound Shipment flow.
- If you enter values for all items in the Quantity in case field (or the custom field selected) and do not check the Case pack shipment box in NetSuite, an error message is displayed when you run the NetSuite Transfer Order to Amazon Inbound Shipment flow.
- If neither the Case pack shipment box is checked nor values are not entered for few or all items in the Quantity in case field (or the custom field selected) in NetSuite, this step will be skipped and the order processed as an individual shipment.
